Mr. Yonah (Harif) Welker is a public technologist and vis. lecturer, prev. advisor to the Ministry of AI and technology, an ambassador for public and assistive systems, human capacity, evaluator, rapporteur to the EU Commission-funded projects, Eurasian and Atlantic technology initiatives, cohorts and exchanges. Mr. Welker’s work spans since early 2000s (Hardwaretech) and encompasses algorithms, emerging technologies, and policies, addressing society, human capacity, designated groups and spectrums such as social, expressive and human-centered AI, robotics, emerging learning, work, health, public solutions. Mr. Welker’s work were quoted in Washington and Brussels, contributed to the key technology repositories, taxonomies and frameworks, addressing assistive, access and public systems, including the UN-related institutions and reports, OECD, working groups (such as AI Act and the Code Of Practice, Digital and Critical Infrastructure). Mr. Welker has provided over a hundred appearances and commentary to bring awareness to social technologies and policies, curated cohorts and summits of technology for public and social contexts.
